I LIKE SEVEN

by Michael Moa

/

about

In 1984, "People Are People" was released by the British band Depeche Mode. The studio recordings took place in the Hansa recording studios in Berlin. At that time, I lived behind the wall in East Germany Magdeburg. When I first heard this song on the radio, it almost blew me away. I felt a great energy coming from this song. I also had to do something like that. Only after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 did these new possibilities arose.

The now available song "I LIKE SEVEN" is a homage to "People are People" and "Depeche Mode." Maybe "I LIKE SEVEN" is not quite as good.

The recording from the 90s could be elaborately reconstructed and is a firework of melodies and beats.
Even before the official start on 08/17/22, the song can already be heard here!
